im alten Wald der fernen Träume
flüstern Bäume alte Namen und
führen mich an ferne Orte.

Und ich legte ab den Blick der Welt
und rief auch ihre Macht hervor :
brachte Schatten, brachte Regen,
und im Zwielicht lag das alte Tor!

Der Regen rief die Ahnengeister
die heute Stumm, und schweigen nunmehr ..
Der Schmerz zeugt Schatten
ihrer Führung
wie Bienen kriechen sie

die mahnend starren, schweigen nun
und auch mein Geist weilt fort, doch wo
er auch reiste : die Welt blieb grau, die
Welt bleib leer.
Und tief im Nebel, dort da steht es
monumental aus altem Stein :
die alte Stadt, das alte Land,
der Nebel kennt es noch : das alte Tor!

auf das Meer
hinaus,
als unsere Heimat
unterging.

sie verschlungen
